CJ’s legal work is backed by a career of real-world service. A retired U.S. Army First Sergeant and decorated combat veteran, his background in military intelligence brings a tactical edge to the courtroom. He litigates complex civil rights lawsuits under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, including the qualified immunity defenses that government officials raise in them.
A graduate of the Appalachian School of Law, CJ combines veteran discipline with an uncompromising commitment to the original intent of the Constitution.
Licensed in both Texas and Maryland, Ryan brings a multi-jurisdictional perspective to the firm’s fight against state overreach.
